Kaustubh Arekar is an Energy Systems Engineer with over four years of experience in renewable energy integration, demand flexibility, e-mobility, and rural energy solutions. He holds a Master’s in Energy Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and a Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, and Power Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad.

At MP Ensystems, Kaustubh leads projects on demand flexibility, renewable energy integration, and sustainable rural value chains. He has extensive experience in load research, techno-economic feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and stakeholder engagement, working with international clients including RAP, The World Bank, SEforALL, CSIS, and the Sequoia Climate Foundation.

His expertise spans python-based modeling, data analytics, policy analysis, and capacity building, with contributions to key initiatives such as demand response program design for DISCOMs, renewable-powered rural value chains, and e-mobility integration during his tenure with GIZ.
